How We Roll

Tuesday night Ride

Tuesdays 8pm-11pm
Meetup Location
Spokes Council Bicycle Co-Op

Spokescouncil promotes community involvement by holding a few different events. The most regular of which is our Tuesday Night bike ride which we encourage everyone who can make it to attend. We hold it ever Tuesday night at 8pm. It starts at the Head of the of the Little Econ trail (Near Lokanatosa and Alafaya). From there we ride about five miles up the Econ trail, through Jay Blanchard Park till we stop for a break at a little rest area for water right before Goldenrod Rd. We then turn around and make our way back the way we came. Once we return to the head of the little Econ we make our way up Alyafaya till we reach Lazy Moon Pizza where we all sit, chat, hangout eat pizza and have a beer.

Shop Hours

Tuesday and Wednesday Noon-3pm
Shop Location
Spokes Council Bicycle Co-Op

We also hold an open shop (now on campus) in one of our local members garage. We have tools there that help us keep our bikes in proper working conditions. We will teach anyone who is willing to show up how to most anything that needs to be done to keep their bike in working order, from putting on new bar tape, to greasing their chain, to learning how to replace a spoke that has broken. We don't have much money so any parts required you'll have to bring yourself but we can give recommendations for any parts needed and the best place to get it.
